These are special versions of our latest-technology 4-stroke engines, all of which set new standards in performance while reducing noise, vibration and fuel consumption to unprecedented levels.

 For sailboats, fishing and work boats, Yamaha’s patented Dual-Thrust propeller (FT8/FT9.9/FT25) provides full thrust in both forward and reverse, allowing effortless manoeuvrability with impressive power against the water. The FT50 and FT60 use a large propeller and special gear ratio and feature the Yamaha EFI system, for clean, economical, reliable performance. Like all EFI engines from 2007 onwards, they are fitted with a connector port for the leading edge Yamaha network system, with its sophisticated range of Digital Network Gauges. The special high-output charging system keeps batteries topped up even on long, low-speed trips.
